This is a reproduction SMLE No. 1, Mk III early style bayonet with scabbard. Originals are scarce; early in WWI quillions were officially removed. The blade, which includes British markings, is made from high carbon steel properly tempered for holding a razor edge. Sharpening is available for an additional fee. All metal has been deeply blued and the wood grips have a rubbed oil appearance. The sheath is made with a leather body and sewn seam up the back with a lozenge style frog. Long M1 Bayonet Garand Springfield (803129) |
Points: 5
|
The long blade M1 Garand Springfield is arguably the most desirable of all US bayonets and the real ones are almost impossible to find or afford. Our reproduction is as close to the real thing as possible up to and including 1942 markings with flaming bomb. Scabbard sold separately.

M1 Bayonet Garand New Manufacture Style (803286) |
Points: 5
|
M1 Garand rifle was first issued with M1905 16″ bayonet. In 1942, the US Military determined that a shorter bayonet was more useful. Existing stocks of M1905 bayonets were cut down to 10″.

Hanwei M7 Letter Opener (MH2361) |
Points: 2
|
Introduced in 1964, The M7 Bayonet was standard issue for the M16 family of rifles during the Vietnam War. Its 6-3/4" blade, combined with its checkered non-slip grip and overall black finish, allowed the bayonet to double as an effective fighting knife. The M7 was manufactured in both the U.S. and several Asian countries. Sold Out
